Gallery BOX is currently seeking applications for exhibitions in 2025. In this Open Call we welcome artists based on two different themes. In the spring of 2025 the theme is Painting/drawing and in the autumn the theme is Abundance. Applicants specify the theme in the application form.
BOX accepts applications from groups and solo artists, only in exceptional cases do we accept proposals from curators. Please note that we do not exhibit artists that are full-time students at the time of their exhibition and we mostly do not prioritize showing graduate works or artists who have recently been shown in Gothenburg.
BOX follows the MU agreement.

BOX is an artist-run gallery with focus on contemporary art. Since its foundation 1998 the gallery has presented more than 170 exhibitions. With a program that includes exhibitions, artists ́talks, lectures and seminars, BOX is today an established and important arena for conversation about the artistic filed.
